Despite the plot not going the exact way I wanted, Soldier Boy coming in and chadding all over Homelander made it worth it.
They can't kill off Homelander, because then what? Head popping lady? No. She's dumb. And not scary at all. I don't care how many heads she can pop.
Imo, they should just perma-V the Boys, get over the anti-Supe shit until they accomplish their mission. And goddammit if they martyr Butcher, I'm gonna be pissed. But they'll probably just keep Hughie and Annie in the end because they're the top projected relatable social demo. I don't like them. Hughie is OK, but Annie just isn't as cool as Maeve is or Kimiko to me.
And the whole beef with MM vs Butcher is fucking stupid and he's just getting in the way. I really don't understand half their moral problems anyway. It made sense in season 1, now it's just like a dynamic dysfunctional group. Like just fuck off and team up and cut the bullshit. It makes them seem like a bunch of weak and whiny drama queens I prefer them to be more macho like in The Expendables.
