I still really don't understand why Butcher gave up on killing Homelander because Soldier Boy knocked Ryan away after interfering, his reasoning was flimsy at best. I don't mean to overreact but I was getting strong GOT Season 8 vibes from the finale, lots of buildup only to go nowhere.

Soldier Boy did nothing but kill nobodies and get put back on ice, which sucked becasue Jensen Ackles was steller in the role.

I hope Black Noir is still alive, he didn't get a memorial and survived losing part of his brain so maybe he'll come back, since he also got a ton of buildup only to go nowhere.

given that homelander went back and grabbed his helmet, doubt he is alive still

but yeah, butcher would do pretty much anything for Ryan, since he's Becca's son. even if that means allying with homelander temporarily

but holy shit, why did they even need all this muscle to take homelander on? Maeve looked like she could solo his ass just fine

however, the fact that grace ended up with soldier boys body in the end, even if he is going back on ice, probably doesn't bode well for anyone. I could see her in season 4 coming up with some sort of weapon that removes people's superpowers based directly off of him

and I am genuinely surprised that they didn't go the most obvious route of giving Hughie and butcher the full super juice.

and where tf did a train go, i get that the deep wasn't around in the tower since he was out doing his thing, but atrain just fully vanished
