Its just pointed out that you dont get to hold bigoted views and not be called a bigot, thats how categorization works. If a business refused to hire a trans person for being trans, youd say thats a transphobic stance backed by discriminatory practice, but you wouldnt find any trans person that was just dying to still work there! Same concept with relationships, except that type of discrimination isnt legally protected against, nor is it appropriate in any circumstance to legislate bodily autonomy, but it still deserves pointing out that its a transphobic stance, backed by discriminatory practice, for the benefit of getting a clear picture of the type of character a person has and the incongruence to how theyd rather be perceived (i.e. hold bigoted views but be perceived as a tolerant person).
