Yeah, basically what I wanted to get at was that the generational divide is a load of crap designed to divide people to be sold to a set of ideas, to a hill to die on. So you want to make the world a better place or be one with the place you got? Great. Except not really great, because there are lies and illusions involved, and everything right about it is your pride while everything wrong is those other groups. Let's blame them for wanting more rather than focusing on the not-so-good folks up top who built these divisions.

Basically Boomers and Millennials exchange as many pleasantries as we're conditioned to do. X and Z are bred their way as well, to think they are no way a part of things, but hey, here are some preset choices to make that are terrible. I hope you're content with these bad choices.

Because that is the design of it all. It's a load of crap. People are the worst kind of foolish who feed into it.

PO, you and I are close enough in age we might be considered of the same generation if not for where the lousy generation divide had been drawn. Our interests are sometimes aligned, and our perspectives often differed because of where we come from, what we had access to in terms of knowledge. Do we let X and Millennial define us? I'd hope not.
