| Disillusion 07/05/22 9:34:05 PM #56: | Flow Beat Eat Nest Tree of Life: Roots -- Flow [8.9] Dance With the Shadow [8.4] Flow is a song that has already grew on me after playing Fez, forgetting it existed for years, and then rehearing it again thanks to Supracord. I love it now, which is why I'm sad that Dance With the Shadow is also in this matchup. You don't see VGM with Spanish influence everyday, and I know a song like this could grow on me with more time spent with it. Variations on a Ra Melody [7.8] Beat Eat Nest [8.1] Ra Melody sounds nice, but every time I hear Magical Chase I'm almost always expecting Waltz of Mediation Part 2 and am left a little let down when it isn't that. Beat Eat Nest, on the other hand, sounds like a weird mix between Yakuza and Mad Rat Dead to me and I'm kinda in awe of that realization. Tree of Life: Roots [8.6] Intuition & empty brass [8.5] I swear, Tree of Life sounded completely different from what I remember, but it's still solid for what it is. And thankfully it is, because Intuition is literally a step away from being a Mad Rat Dead song and stealing my vote as a result in this match. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
