Topic | Why has "Karen" become synonymous with bigotry? |
Lost_All_Senses 07/05/22 2:21:26 PM #13: | EmbraceOfDeath posted... The usage devolved as it became popular and overused as happens with many terms like it. This. As soon as anything gets too popular it gets diluted and becomes more and more vague. I remember being so confused when meme started meaning pretty much anything that wasn't to be taken serious. Almost being synonymous with "joke". Is it synonymous with joke at this point? Feels like it. I usually just move on from using words once they hit a certain point, because they no longer describe anything with a precision I attempt to use. Plus, I usually hate buzzwords anyway, because I think they're a gateway to becoming stupid lol. No one ever looks intelligent when their posts are full of buzzwords. --- Name checks out "I don't wanna be the toughest, I just keep it 100 and think nothin of it"- Black Thought ...
