Brain rewiring is possible, as I did it somewhat. Most people can't even tell that I am autistic, although my ex wife could and when I have relationships that last more than a couple months, I can't completely "hide" it anymore. Nor do I want to at that point, as I want someone who can accept me. Well personally I think friendship was cut more to do with past experiences and just not wanting to open up to people anymore.
