Over that same 42 year span, there were 12 instances where a repeat champion occurred in back-to-back years. Thats just the nature of the NBA. Winning a title is hard, and the Mavs are one of the few teams in nearly half a century to do it in recent memory. Saying fuck our owner for only winning one! comes off as super ignorant.
