Bow where did our resident Kaiji expert go? I lost at gambling and had to spend a few months in a hard labor camp. Finally got out today. Actually I just haven't really watched any anime or engaged in anything anime-adjacent (VNs etc) lately so I haven't really had anything to add to the thread. I have been just about to jump back in and start watching some series again though. The last few nights I've been meaning to finally start Non Non Biyori S3, and that Bastard show on Netflix looks interesting. I also bought all the volumes of Mieruko-chan that are out which I've been meaning to do since the anime ended. That is weird at first glance about the Kaiji dub, but I would bet you anything it has to do with the popularity of Squid Game worldwide. Kaiji is very similar (and came first btw) so I bet they are thinking it could have new legs with the English speaking world if they can get it more exposure. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
