My grandfather is 99 and has 9 poor children (my mum being one of them) really relying on selling his house, which is by far the most valuable asset in the family, for a good price when he passes to sustain themselves throughout retirement. They're mostly all renters themselves. My mum worked hard her whole life but could never get very far ahead financially through supporting her children and with a low paying job --- Started from the bottom now we here ...
