And there always would have been idiots who refused to go along with government pandemic response protocols, regardless of whether or not an orange baby-man politicized a damn virus.

Still, his response was abhorrent despite eventually caving and managing to throw together that Warp Speed thing, which I'm convinced took some real effort on behalf of his political handlers to even get him to consider. So it's not unfair to still blame him for the disaster overall.
