"I hate the Democrats for not stopping the Republicans so I'll just vote for Republicans anyway" is one hell of a weird take. its a weird take but the sentiment is sound. democrats whole platform is - vote for us because were not republicans and they continually get away with it. all talk, no action. But they keep getting votes anyway. So yeah, in a theoretical sense if they got absolutely clobbered across the board then perhaps they would come to their senses and realize just talking a big game isnt the answer.
