How does 33K equal social support?!!? Does 33K pay for a years worth of child care? A years worth of mental health benefits? More basically, why do you believe people don't need social support?
This is for a SINGLE person. Having a family will give you MORE benefits. Mental health is covered via Medicaid.

Ehh.. rent is definitely NOT 1200 for a two bedroom in every state.. in Atlanta alone its closer to 2k now, and Georgia is considered one of the cheaper cost of living states.
If you're poor on federal aid, why are you looking for two bedroom apartments? Regardless, 30% of $2000 is still $600/mo, which is extremely doable.

You still haven't answered where the very poor are going to find money to rent a Uhaul?
You save money, just like everyone else. Except the money you're saving is subsizied by everyone else, and not 100% earned income.
