Theyre a dying breed. The more educated younger people get, the more left they lean. Cant have people wanting to make this country a decent place to live for anyone that isnt a straight, white male, after all.

This. If they simply let nature run its course, Republicanism would die out within only a few generations as younger generations start to become more educated and informed, resulting in a higher level of social consciousness, a greater understanding and acceptance of other cultures/sub-cultures and an abandonment of traditional Christian doctrine.

Their recent actions are all desperate, extreme measures to maintain their stranglehold over the future of the country.
