This guy took the steps to sobriety because he was forced to do so and he never (to my knowledge) voluntarily tried to achieve sobriety. He was going through a lot of that court ordered rehab stuff when I was going through a voluntary substance abuse program and the reason Ive stayed sober for almost six years is because I was ready to make the change. He will get there, I hope, but the change has to come from the him.
Everyone I know/knew who used meth either did time in jail/prison or is deceased (not from meth overdose, but the lifestyle that comes along with it is rough). Weed literally exists and I have no idea why someone would not smoke weed and instead use meth.
what do you mean when you say "steps" ?
