Chrono Trigger wasn't even the best RPG in the year it came out - or even in its own series - let alone of all time.

People need to stop sucking Chrono Trigger's cock so hard, it's never been as good as the Internet likes to pretend it was. Its reputation is almost entirely built on childhood nostalgia *cough*just like Ocarina of Time*cough*.

umm, I bought Chrono Trigger when it was new and it was good. It didn't have much competition that year which helped cement it.
