That's the kind of thing some find odd this early on tho. It might not receive the appreciation you expect. Plus, you can't play all your cards immediately, because you become uninteresting real quick if you start at 100. You should be honest, but not too honest about emotions that you need to keep in check instead of lean into.

I haven't dated in awhile. So, anytime I see something that could possibly blossom, I get overly excited too. But I know to keep that in check because I understand that I'm setting myself up for a hard disappointment and I also know it would drive someone away to put way too much of my emotion on their shoulders. You don't want to make them feel like it's immediately theur responsibility to keep you happy. You have to show you're still independent while showing they still make you happier when around
