I think I heard Salt & Sanctuary 2 is happening. Blasphemous 2. Souls's main competitor (Witcher 3) is getting a sequel. There's a new Hollow Knight. Tons of new IPs in Soulslike or Sekirolike style. Some day Bethesda will have to release TES6. It will be interesting to see what they do now that Elden Ring sort of squashed all these rivals with its amazing open world gameplay. I try to keep track of it, but ey.

DD isn't a Soulslike for the most part. Only with the Dark Arisen expansion did they make it considerably more challenging difficulty wise to try and appeal to Souls fans.
