I'm not against these hearings.... I think it's important to get a public record out there of what has been discovered. Half the shit you see about it is wrong or misconstrued by the media.

Is it basically a show? Yes. But what else could it really be but that? One party isn't even living in reality anymore.

Investigate, make it public, and if people want to look they can look.

Do I think Trump should be in legal trouble for it? Probably. Do I think actually holding him accountable will do a single thing? Fuck no. The ONLY thing it will accomplish is to make the far right more entrenched and more prone to violence. Granted I'm not sure what the actual solution is. As of right now it seems to be "let them calm themselves down and they will get back to reality" but that isn't happening.
