| rexcrk 06/15/22 5:10:29 AM #47: | Nah. Its a fine movie but Id rank it the bottom. The romance is what kills it for me. Its supposed to be the core of the movie and its just so bad. I cant even suspend my disbelief for it (yeah, yeah, thats where I draw the line). Two people who havent seen or spoken to each other in ten years they spend the entire movie arguing, snipping at each other, making weird comments, being creepy etc. and then out of the blue its all I truly.. deeply.. love you. It couldve worked if they had like been in contact with each other between Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, or actually spending the movie getting to know each other and, you know, being like nice or cute with each other. But what we got was Anakin acting like a complete total weirdo, spending the whole movie having mantrums and bitching about everything and just being a creep.. and Padm finds that attractive? No. Just, no. Everything else is great though, especially when they get to the arena to the end. --- Tell my tale to those who ask.
