I actually watched it, which is probably more than what 90% of you will do. He's not wrong. Movies do romanticize gun violence and plots of vengeance and retribution through violence.

He even goes out of his way to say his point isn't to undercut the role of ease of access to firearms, because it's obviously what every predictable dickwad would and has jumped to, to try and change the subject.

So his point is dumb fucking bullshit like all the braindead jackasses who say violent video games are a problem.

I think we should make media even more violent just to prove a point. People have been saying this dumb shit for decades.

And if he doesn't actually want to do anything to this violent media besides say that we romanticize it, then what even is the point of mentioning it in the first place?
