- Recent Macs using M1/M2 SoCs are really, really OP, on top of the fact that Macs tend to have long shelf lives and retain a very high resell value, compared to their Windows counterparts
- The Apple ecosystem is objectively the best and most private, making macOS extremely convenient without any of the bullshit you have to deal with on Windows 10/11, with MS accounts
- Apple just announced (Tuesday) further commitment to Mac gaming with their own version of DLSS and improvements to the Metal API
- Apple Arcade is surprisingly a great deal and gives you a shitload of actual Indie/AA games for free
As a PC gamer, I'd never switch to a Mac for gaming, but even though you're dropping a lot of money on a Mac, you're guaranteed for it to last considerably longer than other computers, and guaranteed to be able to resell them for a significant percentage of their original MSRP.
It's unrelated but AA is starting to become a more viable platform for indie games than the Switch, as pretty much every multiplat AA port I've played looks and runs a lot better than they do on the Switch, and (sometimes) 7th-gen consoles.
