Different World 1 is one of those songs for sure. I forget how I felt about it when I first heard it in VGMC13, but this year, I'm pretty into it. All the instruments from the pad chords to the bass and everything else comes together really nicely. Staff Roll is such a heartwarming song! Especially 1:12 and the key change at 2:43. Really tough match. I like both songs for different reasons. I think if the YU-NO song was Activation, I would have voted for it because I've gotten really into it over time, but I think Staff Roll just slightly beats Different World 1 in my eyes. MATCH 2 Not much to say about Terra. I like the flute part the most, but the latter half of the song before the loop point is a bit meh in my opinion. Mighty Magma Red does a lot of the stuff from other Yasui songs I like. Mainly that rock-like rhythm and melody. Easy pick here.
