Its still a semi-auto, which have been around much longer than the AR-15 and similar rifles. I used to own a rifle that shot .44 magnum rounds, the Ruger Model 44. According to gun control logic it is perfectly acceptable for me to own the Model 44, and even the Mini 14 that fires the .223, but a rifle with a synthetic stock and pistol grip isnt? I get people are upset and angry, as they should be. But, that anger is being directed at an object. We dont blame car manufacturers for drunk driving fatalities, I mean no cars equal no accidents right? Everyone take a bus or train.

Right but again the object in question is designed to kill here as opposed to drunk driving which is all w on someone being under the influence. Cars by all means are not designed as weapons.
