If someone expresses their attraction in a straightforward and respectful way, and theyre making it easy to understand and engage with their intentions, do you not also think any possible rejection would be straightforward and respectful? When youre in a physical space with someone, it doesnt make as much sense to be suspicious of their character, because they are undeniably real and you can pick up the physical cues from their body language and facial expressions.

This is more or less my feelings on the issue. I never experienced a rejection that was anything like my fears were. Never was a girl like "ew no." The worst I got was just your typical "I have a bf" "I'm not interested in dating rn" Which are super mild, and didn't make me feel down or dejected.

I think public settings are a better alternative for some guys. It's just a less pressure scenario like people said. Also the more you expose yourself to the socialization and possible rejection of finding a date in public the easier it gets.
