In response to the actual question, they can be good, however, they are often portrayed by some terrible people in the media and suddenly all Trump supporters come across as terrible people. Why is it that someone who has a different political opinion can't be a good person? Not everyone on either side is "radical". And here come the slurpers to deflect.
