What kind of job is this? Follow up next week on the status. Managers/interviewers do get busy or they change plans. I wouldn't follow up again if they don't get back to you after the first attempt..Or at least you don't have to. Really depends how bad you want the job, but following up once a week is fine. If twice a week, one on Monday and one on Friday.

I don't get people who have interviews and always wait for the company or HR/management to call them to follow up. I mean you did sacrifice your time, but know there they are interviewing many people and they get busy.. and you are competing with them for a job.

I had an old coworker that I put in as a reference for an opening in my dept and had a horrible experience with it..To be fair he didn't hear back from them, and they had someone internally in mind, so he didn't hear a response, but the friend kept asking me for updates several times a week and never once followed up with them, and then got passive aggressive with me. Like I just handed his resume and recruitment and management was the one that handled it from there. Don't use me. I realized he never followed up with them once since his interview. like wtf.
