Everyone knows he shut down the Keystone XL project. It's obviously debatable how much extra crude would of been refined and how it would of affected supply. To your average voter though, it's easy to make the correlation that Trump=cheap gas/Biden=$5 gal gas.

Biden needs to work on his messaging. His administration says things like it's all Russia's fault but ignores that fact that gas prices and inflation have been going up steadily before the war.
