Many times it's simply affirmative action: giving a minority at the school entrance before others, which is legal and makes sense from a college's perspective: a diverse student body is better for everyone. If Harvard has 30% asian students and 10% african american or black students, then it makes sense to deny an asian student access over an african american student. Universities make no secret about wanting a diverse student body, and Ted Cruz trying to make it sound like Harvard is the KKK is ridiculous. Remember also this is rich fucking weirdos complaining, literally, "Oh no I couldn't get into Harvard and had to go to Yale." --- ( o _o) ... Copied to Clipboard! |
