Though if they don't want to make Ash look too good, they might give him the path of Alain -> Iris rematch -> loss to Leon so he doesn't beat any of the champions he hasn't already beaten. Even if Ash faces Iris, she would have to defeat a different champion (perhaps Lance to cement her as a Dragon Master) to reach the semis. With that said, I don't think the two will face.
