To mock a take you have to actually have an awareness of the take in question and how to refute it. Shapiro, unsurprisingly, isn't smart enough to understand the other person's take on a basic level so while he is trying to mock the other person he instead just comes across even dumber than usual. In addition how you mock someone shows what your stances are on any given thing, and the fact that he feels that abortion and slavery are equivalents is, in and of itself, a take. That, of course, ignoring the fact that the two statements don't even have a similar throughput at all (that is part of the reason that his "mockery" doesn't actually function at all).
