It's slightly off in some cases, but I'm pretty sure that they already have most of the info that they need for your taxes already. From what I understand, the entire hoop of needing to do it yourself is totally unnecessary and only continues to be the case because tax prep companies have lobbied really hard to make people do it themselves.
