FFVIIR and Elden Ring crush their first matches and because GameFAQs, I err toward any form of FFVII.

A multi-million selling game that was the highest rated game that year, it absolutely would not be low fodder. We already saw it be decent in GOTY polls before it even released on Playstation and Xbox, it would be much stronger now. It wont beat FFVII Remake but it would not get destroyed either. With respect, this reminds me of the 2015 The Witcher 3? Whats that? posts.

Also, FFVII Remake didnt look that good. Im not convinced its a lock over Metroid Dread let alone stands a chance against Elden Ring. Or to put it a different way, it would lose to Skyrim and Dark Souls and I dont think Elden Ring would.
