It is a church that has said it is "all inclusive" but also has said it only accepts gay people who "did not follow a "homosexual lifestyle"" and the church considers gay acts sinful. Don't try to rewrite it as if his church is gay-friendly, because it is not. Chris pratt had praised his church openly in interviews for years, Elliott simply pointed out that his church treats gay people poorly (which it does...) and asked why he would be promoting them.
