| Mizznox 04/27/22 9:45:08 PM #27: | Minimal Change Disease Basically a weird immune response in my kidneys led to some proteins not filtering properly and a bunch of fluid retention. By the time I got admitted to the hospital I had almost 60 pounds of edema throughout my body, scrotum was nearly the size of one of those mini basketballs. Diuretics to piss out all of that over the course of a few days and a couple months of taking steroids and I'm all good, but will technically always have the disease and it could flair up again at some point. 33 now, happened like 5 years ago. Actually, a peritonsillar abscess might have been more immediately threatening and had me absolutely miserable, but that was a much quicker fix and I've since had my tonsils removed. --- https://i.imgur.com/qUAL3fG.gifv ...
