Topic | Poor but happy or rich and depressed |
zammox 04/22/22 6:07:08 PM #41: | Lost_All_Senses posted... If it's impossible to be happy while doing that, that would imply that you're not doing that while poor. >_>. You'd be getting by in a way that keeps you happy. Otherwise the hypothetical makes no sense and doesn't work. That's the part I feel like people are missing. People are treating it like one option is a trap lol. The "happy" part implies you're poor but not in a way you're forced into depressing (to you) circumstances. There are gotchas to both sides. Rich but depressed- why would I be depressed? If I have enough money to never work, to never sweat a bill again, what's left to be unhappy about? My health? Poor but happy- how can you be happy if you struggle to, or straight up don't, pay the bills each month? I would take low income but happy over high income but unhappy. --- aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ... Copied to Clipboard! |
