Because Anime and by extension JRPGs are marketed almost exclusively to teenagers and teenagers are obsessed over things like sex and having pretty girls at thier beck and call. It's a nerd thing too so it gives them an escapist fantasy to a world where they can have tons of attractive girls and super powers thast let them save the world or whatever the plot calls for.
