there's a point in time where that dvd was on repeat for months

not because i liked it or anything, it's mediocre at best, but because the dvd player i had at the time i had found in the trash, and if it turned off i would have to open it up and short two traces on one of the pcbs and it was just a pain in the ass, so i just would put a movie in and turn it on repeat and it would just be on, always, when i wasn't actively using it to watch the specific thing i wanted to watch. without a paddle had just been the closet dvd to me when i did that, and it just became the movie i put in to sit

well, eventually the tray would just refuse to come out, so i just left it alone with the intention of fiddling with it later, but i never did, and shortly after i got a 360 so i just forgot entirely about it

so the thing was just on, for months, playing without a paddle over and over and over
