This thread devolved so quickly. I wasn't even talking about the dating world for men vs. women or anything like that -- I was just saying the gamer nerd would turn down the overweight mom before the reverse, because the gamer is probably fatphobic as you can see all over here and Reddit.

Gladius isn't saying anything that's wrong, and the other posters have slight points although there's some exaggeration. There's a really good Counterpoints video about dating from both sides that sums up everything nicely.

Fatphobic... Most men probably can't even get hard for a girl who's too fat.

I have a few friends who like to consider themselves woke and would say they'd date girls of all sizes, but when push comes to shove they definitely don't want a fat girl.

I just think girls, who yes also have physical preferences, are far more likely to look past them

So my issue with the topic is implying it's only incels who reject/don't like fat girls. It's all guys. Luckily weight can be changed so this situation isn't as dire as it sounds
