They nailed the open world concept better than any other game:
- exploration is fun for the sake of uncovering new landscapes, places of interests, secrets. You dont explore just to check quests off a list. The world is varied and interesting.
- Korok seeds are a great incentive to explore off the beaten path, but theres strong diminishing returns. If youre into 100% completion, then go for it, but otherwise you can greatly expand your inventory slots while only finding like 25% of the total seeds. This makes the seeds fun little mini-puzzles to find while exploring, but theres no stress in trying to find all of them (or even half of them).
- Between horses, gliding, and Revalis Gale, and nearly every surface being climbable, its a breeze to traverse the environment, and gliding from high vantage points is a lot of fun.
