Even taking into account how weak it starts and some dips along the way after it gets good, it's better than the sum of its parts. It ends up using even the parts that are weaker as you're going through them as setup for some truly amazing payoffs, and the stuff in ShB and EW wouldn't have been nearly as good without them. plasmabeam posted... Didn't realize FF14 was this complex. Yikes. I mean it's not really 'complex'. It's a linear plot, not separate narratives or anything.
