i guess most people arent homeless so I had no reason to assume he was. Most obviously homeless people i see on transit usually have a cart/garbage bags full of their belongings. This guy just had a small shopping bag full of evidently snacks
that made me laugh lol. I probably would have declined if this guy asked me, but he sorta just placed it on my lap with the note so it'd have been rude to try and give it back

yeah i assumed as much. it's probably the most pleasant public transit interaction i've had with a weird guy
