So what are the best seasons?

2-7, though 8 really good aswell.

2- When the started hitting their stride
3/4- Al jean and Mike Reiss as showrunners and they were gold
5/6 Started getting wackier, showrunner made that heartbreaker movie, became more of a gag show
7- Heart came back
8- Mixture of wacky and funny
9-12 Show became basically like Season 5 wacky but to the extreme, didnt care for chactacters anymore, zombified simpsons, and jerkass Homer was introduced. Awful.
13-16- Became a bit better, but some of the things from old seasons hamper it like them using Moe as a lovestruck guy too much, jerkass homer is still there, the kids dont act like kids anymore, and celebrities are celebrated rather than mocked like the older simpsons.

Stopped watching after that.
