Is it different when we are trying to buy from homes being built in these newer subdivision? Like we dont have to compete as much as long as we have what they are asking for? Luckiliy for us, waiting for a house to be built is an option since we can move with her parents for a year or 2 to wait for one to be built. Think thats the direction we are going because everything that gets listed online gets taken pretty quick You would have better luck with new builds but it will depend on the builder. They usually have wait lists but we saw one where they had waitlists and a bidding process so we noped out. The other thing is rates are likely to go up to while you wait for the house but if youre ok with that then it should be fine.
