That said, you're a either a moron or a liar if you think that imprinting references to specific peoples onto fantasy species doesn't happen, and that some of them are based off of textbook caricatures of people, not to mention how they fairly consistently boil down to "Here's the fantasy species that represents X Asian culture(s). Here's the fantasy species that loosely represent X pre-colonial American culture(s). And here are the humans, and they represent Britain/northern Europe/USA." It's not just skewed, it's fucking boring and lazy... and frankly kind of insulting to humans in general at that. Like... what is even your argument here, lol? Don't criticize shitty worldbuilding?
