He seems like he's a nice enough guy who cares about people and his friends, he's just extremely irresponsible. The kind of guy who shouldn't get married and have kids because he'd be an awful father. Not a hero? I'm not sure I'd even say he's not a hero; he has shown in the past like in the Red Ribbon army stuff that he will go out of his way to help people sometimes. If you compare him to like, Superman, a guy who lives to serve, no, he's not a hero.
