I'm confused by this statement. So all the Indian immigrants here just suddenly forget how to make authentic food as soon as they step foot in the Americas?
Like there are pockets of heavily Indian areas. I live in one. My girlfriend's dad and step-mom are both from India. Did they, and all the restaurants here suddenly forget how to make Indian food?

And the Brits with their tikka masala and super white-ified bullshit is more authentic somehow?

2 things I think

1. The UK and India's history.
2. You gotta serve your audience

I think the Indians in the US have sussed that Americas can't handle spicy food so they make it bland as fuck . Like McDonald's

to quote Red Dwarf, half of England "Only has 2 taste buds left that work"

so they can scoff down Vindaloos and Madras.

This is also why they can scoff down horrible food too.

Same reason Chinese food is better in the US even though there's plenty of Chinese people in England

They just know to make some slimy slop (and serve chips for some reason) and it'll sell better than authentic Chinese cooking

^ Hey now that's completely unfair!
