It seems like a local Earth conflict more than anything. All of the significant action scenes have been with Gohan and Piccolo. Dragon Ball isn't exactly known for their subtlety when they release trailers. We knew about Golden Frieza well before RoF came out. --- I write Naruto Fanfiction.
