Topic	Which Disgaea game should I start with?

Youre right, Disgaea 3 has the most trash plot of any of the Disgaea games I played. However, the sprite work and actual gameplay is among the best along with the awesome dual soundtracks. Even the alternate endings were pretty meh. Entertaining post game but one of the reused stages is one of those rapid tall spiral towers so it is tedious.
