Now had she said something like "the interest rates are outrageous, we need to fix interest rates on existing and future loans" I could get behind that. It's not wrong and seems like a happy medium.

Yep , student loan relief is basically a massive bribe. Vote for me and I'll forgive the tens of thousands you owe for what may or may not be a worthless degree. And meanwhile the guys that were cautious and passed on university get nothing. Fuck that , if they get their debt waived, I want a fatty check too. They should also offer people who couldn't afford college grants.

But really I just don't want any of it. Your point about the predatory interest rates is right on , and the other guy about addressing the way college has turned into a for profit business. With a majority of these colleges having supposedly progressive to left wing faculty ftr. They preach about greater equality and fairness then hose people.
